 The Copy Cat Game

Introduction

Hello girls and boys, this is Chess Master  Mr. C bringing you  a Chess Article and Chess Video about the famous Copy Cat Game.

Don’t you just hate it when somebody copies you. No matter what you do they do the same thing that you do and it is very annoying.

You might be a little surprised to find out that  this can also happen in a chess game.  Your opponent makes every move that you make. Is this a good strategy? When it happens what can we do about it?

Well, luckily there are answers to when our rival employs the most annoying strategy in chess.

The World Champ Shows the Way

In the following game the third World Chess Champion Jose Raul Capablanca demonstrates in decisive manner why it is not a good idea to copy your opponents moves.

I will go along  with you, explaining move by move all that happens in the game.

If you would like to find out more about Jose Raul Capablanca, there are many resources, you can get a great little article about him here.
